Comrades champion Gerda Steyn confirms she will be back to run again

Gerda Steyn made an exclusive announcement on Monday's show of East Coast Breakfast following her big win at the 2019 Comrades Marathon.

Two Oceans Marathon runner and record-breaker at the 94th Comrades Marathon, Gerda Steyn, will be back to compete in the Comrades Marathon. She confirmed the news on Monday's show.
"Comrades is in my soul, I'm not going to stop now. I will be back to run Comrades, definitely," says Gerda.
Gerda was the 17th runner to finish the race. She became the first woman to break six-hours on the ‘up run’.
Breaking the previous record by 11 minutes, she has stolen the hearts of many around the world. Her humility and grace as she cruised across the finish line stunned everyone in South Africa. She look like she could even go a few more km's!
