Brave burn victim wants one thing for Christmas
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
She suffered 75 % burns and lost her family to a fire 2-years ago. This little angel only has one simple gift this Christmas.

The burn victim you see here is named Safyre Terry and she’s from Schenectady, New York. Two years ago, arsonists set her family home on fire, destroying her life in many significant ways. She lost her house, and more horrifically, her father and younger siblings. In fact, it was her dad who used his body as a human shield so that Safyre could live.
Even then, she walked away with severe burns over 75% of her body, requiring multiple surgeries and painful medical treatments.

This year, Safyre’s aunt got her a tree-shaped decoration to hang Christmas cards from. Immediately, she wanted to fill it. Her relative responded reasonably, saying that it would require over 100 greetings to fill it up. They usually get about 10.
That’s when social media stepped in. Her aunt announced the situation on Facebook. The response? Well, let’s just say that this is one viral circumstance well worth the otherwise unpopular label.
