Blind man sees wife for the first time

We often take for granted the ability to have sight - to see the world we live in, the faces of our loved ones and our own in the mirror, but for Gene Purdie, it's a different story.

Stargardt's disease is a condition that only allows Gene to see the outline of things in front of him. He's never had the ability to see his wife's face, his parents, and his own son.

He appeared on the Rachel Ray show where he was given a  pair of eSight glasses to try on.
