In today's Big Favour, we meet Nompilo Dlamini, who wrote to big favor on behalf of the local boys.
I am writing this letter in need of assistance.
We as the Inanda community are busy trying to raise funds for 3 local boys who have been selected to represent the KZNRU Sharks Youth Club.
They will be travelling for a provincial tournament in October 2022 to Bloemfontein, Free State.
Here's what Nompilo said more about the whole situation in Part 1:
The boys who have been selected are as follows:
- Sibusiso Hlongwa will be representing the U14 team;
- Philasande Mkoyana will be representing the U16 team
- Prince Mncube will be representing the U18 team.
The tournament will cost R 9 000.00 for each player.

If they are unable to pay this fee, they might unfortunately lose their spot in the team.
Therefore, we are asking for assistance from the Big Favour in helping raise these funds for each of the players so they can participate in the tournament.
They come from struggling families, and they are unable to pay these funds.
These players love this sport and use it to better themselves and their families.

They are hoping to get scholarships to good schools in the Durban area plus they would be super excited to be playing for the provincial KwaZulu-Natal team.
Please could you assist us with whatever you can.
It will go a long way in getting these boys to Bloemfontein.
After hearing this extraordinary story, many organisations were moved and wanted to help out these young men succeed in representing their province.
In came Pearl Zwane, who is the General manager at Grand Gaming KZN Slots to give help where it is needed.

So Pearl got together with the board at KZN Slots and they were thinking of how they can offer their contribution towards IPT tournament for the boys.
As a result, Grand Gaming KZN Slots decided to donate R27 000 to the three boys tournament fees as well as buying them essential things they will need for the tour.
Here's the moment where Pearl from KZN Slots came to the rescue for the Inanda school kids:
