Ice cream store introduces Vaseline-flavoured ice cream

Yup… that’s a hard pass from us. No amount of desperation for a “moisturised” look makes this remotely appetising.

We recently heard about an American company planning to launch a breastmilk-flavoured ice cream.

While that may sound odd, it could appeal to a niche audience with a particular interest in breastmilk (beyond its intended baby audience, of course).

Not to be outdone, UK-based rolled ice cream brand Pan-n-Ice has introduced its own unusual creation: Vaseline-flavoured ice cream.

The idea of Vaseline-flavoured ice cream certainly doesn't sound appetising – and is hardly something you'd crave – but it definitely caught attention.

A video that shows the creation of this rather undesirable Vaseline-flavoured rolled ice cream was all part of the plan – to trick us into thinking the brand was seriously launching it.

Pan-n-Ice managed to pull a fast one on their fans, posting a video of themselves making rolled ice cream with Vaseline, a classic cosmetic product known for its moisturising properties, but definitely not for ice cream.

On March 31, 2025, Pan-n-Ice shared a video on Instagram with the caption, "We’re launching the world’s FIRST ever @vaselineuk Ice Cream Rolls! Get ready for an ultra-creamy, glossy treat that takes ice cream to a new level!"

They later updated the caption: "APRIL FOOLS! This product is not edible. Do not try this at home."

Vaseline United Kingdom joined in on the fun, commenting, "We can’t wait to try."
