Craving something sweet? Try Milo toast...

Viral food trends can sometimes hit the mark in terms of nostalgia or incredible taste, but other times, they can be a complete miss and an epic fail.

For instance, remember the 'spring onion latte'? Check out a video of Danny Guselli trying it out here.

We recently saw the Dubai Chai Malai Toast trend, in which people poured chai or masala tea over their toast as a morning treat.

There's a mix-and-match approach to having something crunchy and chocolatey this time.

Milo is known for its cocoa-like flavour, even though cocoa isn't naturally sweet. The chocolate drink can be enjoyed warm or cold drink, but this is the first time we've heard of it as a toast topper.

A food account from Australia called Taste Team shared its version of a decadent spoil of chocolatey toast—Milo toast. The woman making it in the video said it's an option for people who want chocolatey toast but not something as rich like Nutella

Besides the intrigue about trying something predominantly powdery on toast, there's the idea that this might be the solution to a sweet craving when you have nothing else in your cupboard.

All you need is bread, butter and Milo.
