The irritating things people do

The irritating things people do

We all try not sweat the small stuff, but sometimes it's just very hard to not get irritated. What does someone do or say that drives you up the wall?

Am I the only one who gets irritated by the smallest things?

But then again, are they that insignificant that I find myself writing about them?

I sat thinking of a few of these things and decided to find out if there are things like this that irritate you?

On Monday, I paid for a coffee. I think it was R14. I didn't have any change though, so I gave the waiter R50.

He arrived back holding the change in his hand - all R36 of it, but instead of just putting it on the table, he kept it in his hand and said "here's your change, thank you".

I was working on my laptop so I just casually said, "Thank you".

I then looked up and saw him politely heading off... with my R36 change! Clever move, I have to be honest.

By not putting the change in a folder of some sort, I almost felt guilty saying 'You can put my change down on the table please'.

Even worse than this is the waiter who just doesn't bring your change at all, and then when you ask where you change is, they say they thought the change was their tip.

Then there's the person who just makes my day when I call a company and I get...

Me "Hi, is ....... there please"

Receptionist: "Yes she is...."

... silence ....

Me: .... um hello....

Receptionist: "Do you want to speak to her"

It's like I want to reply and say, "No, I'm just actually calling to see where she is"

So now - I say "Hello, is ..... there please and could I speak to her please'

Heads up! Don't forget that asking if a certain person is there, doesn't mean you want to speak to them....

The smallest things...
