Rude awakening: Thief attempts robbery while truck driver sleeps
A truck driver who tried to catch forty winks got the fright of his life when he was woken up by an intruder.
Everyone knows how much long-distance drivers need their sleep, but for one driver, his sleep was rudely interrupted by a thief who attempted to rob him of his belongings.
In the video footage you can see the truck driver sleeping, but suddenly he’s woken by the sound of someone rummaging through his belongings.

The driver springs into action and begins kicking the robber. He then uses his duvet and even throws random items at him in an attempt to push him out of the vehicle. Thankfully, the thief leaves.
Times Live has reported that two suspects have been arrested and will appear in court soon.
Can you imagine the fear waking up to see someone standing over you and attempting to steal your belongings? This has to be the most terrifying thing to wake up to?!
