The Mercury got in touch with Nick Evans about how to handle snake situations.

And he advised that if anyone is bitten by a snake, they should be rushed to the hospital. He also said it would be helpful to take a pic of the snake so that snake catchers can identify them and help with treatment.

Furthermore, he added that attempting to catch or kill the snake is not advisable. What you can do is make sure your yard is clean.

“The best you can do is keep your yard clean, with no piles of wood, rubble, bricks, and hope for the best. Cutting down trees won’t help, although if you have branches growing against your roof, trim them back,” said Evans." (MSN)
