A story from around 20 years ago has resurfaced on the internet. It's a classic story about determination, perseverance, and self-confidence

Cha Sa-Soon, a Korean mother who got her driver's licence on her 960th attempt, is the perfect example of what it means to dust yourself off and try again. Her story wowed internet users after it was revealed that, despite her previous failed attempts, her will and determination got her across the finish line.

According to a report by NDTV: "She first attempted the written test back in April 2005, and after failing for the first time, she continued to retake the test every single day, five days a week, for three years. After that, her pace slowed to about twice a week. But she never quit, and after 860 written tests, she passed."

However, that was only half the battle; she still needed to take the practical test. It took her 10 attempts before she finally passed the test in 2010 at the age of 69.

Cha Sa-Soon took around five years to achieve her goal of getting a driver's licence. It is said that she forked out around R261,808.80.

But her determination earned her a reward she didn't even expect. Besides the celebration with her driving instructor, Cha Sa-Soon's story made her a local celebrity.

Her story earned her a brand-new Hyundai vehicle.

Her story will go down in history as one that teaches us dedication, resilience and self-confidence.
