Elephant in Pilanesberg National Park takes on safari truck

People are calling this elephant angry, but did we ever think about how they feel being gawked at by people all day?

We all know (not just after watching 'Jungle Book') that the elephant is the true king of the jungle.

That means that you don't mess with the mighty elephant and what it represents in the wild. This animal not only makes its presence known due to its mighty appearance, but it is also absolutely majestic to watch up close and personal.

The thing about seeing an elephant up close is that they don't always want to be the centre of attention.

In a video that is gaining lots of traction on social media, we see an elephant who was not happy being gawked at by tourists. The incident took place at the Pilanesberg National Park in the North West Province.

The big guy not only came too close for comfort, but also attacked the safari truck by lifting the front of the truck with its tusks.

If anything, going out on a safari comes with a host of dangers and shouldn't be taken lightly. This was proof of that. These tourists walked away safely, thankfully.

Here's a view of the elephant attack from inside the safari truck. This was scary viewing; we cannot imagine what it must've felt like being inside?!
