VIDEO: Foot-fallers in real life!
Updated | By Rory Petzer
It happens mostly in the penalty area: Striker has ball. Striker is touched by defender.
Striker falls to the ground, arms in the air, screaming in pain.
When referee ignores striker, said footballer jumps up and continues playing as if nothing had happened.
This clever video shows us how ridiculous it would look in real life if we threw ourselves around at the slightest touch.
It makes one wonder: FIFA should not only be awarding a Golden Ball Award, but also perhaps a Foot-Faller of the Year Award!
What are your thoughts on players falling to the ground at the slightest touch? Is it unacceptable or does it add to the drama and excitement of what it is known as the 'beautiful game?'
