VIDEO: Circus lion attacks trainer

This is absolutely terrifying! A lion tamer has survived an attack during a circus performance in Egypt. 

The trainer was busy with her routine in the middle of the ring when Mandy the lion pounced on her and pinned her to the ground. She was seen smiling, waving and dancing seconds before the attack. 

Audience members can be heard screaming in the YouTube video when the big cat leapt into the air and grabbed the trainer with its paws. 

The lion tamer’s said to be in a stable condition in hospital. What’s freaky about this scenario is that her husband died in 2004 after a similar lion attack.
