Cricket SA launched the 'Protea Fire' campaign on Thursday, with just over four months before the Cricket World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.
Proteas Test captain, Hashim Amla, says the timing of the announcement (just over four months ahead of the Cricket World Cup in New Zealand and Australia) will hopefully yield better results than Proteas teams of the past.
"We have people from all walks of life, different backgrounds. The thing that unifies us is the understanding we have between us.
"Post-Aparthied, as the generations have progress and there is more diversity, the embodiment and strength of the team is how we all come together.
"We hope this World Cup is one where everything comes together."
