I was born in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. I remember my family fleeing the country in 1982 when I was just 9 years old, we were escorted out by a military convoy.
I loved that country, and I hated Robert Mugabe. Always have. Let’s be honest he is a power-hungry chop.
But when he was addressing his supporters after returning from his African Union address, and he broke into the Uptown Funk I suddenly fell in love with him.
What a guy!
