Social media went crazy yesterday when video footage was released showing Jay-Z being attacked by Beyonce's sister, Solange, in a lift. Details of the incident have not been confirmed, but perhaps some of these memes can fill in the gaps...
An entertainment website's released CCTV footage that appears to show rapper Jay-Z being attacked by Beyonce's sister, Solange, in a lift.
In the video the trio, along with their bodyguard, are seen heading into the lift after a party at New York's Standard Hotel, last Monday.
Solange lashes out several times at her brother-in-law, before a security guard intervenes. Solange also smacks Jay-Z with her purse, which bursts open and sends a flying kick his way, which he tries to block.
Twitter and Instagram have since been flooded with hilarious memes about the incident.
