Meet our Comrades runners
You heard them on-air yesterday, now meet our Comrades runners in the first of our Old Mutual series that celebrates the essence of the Comrades Marathon.
The Comrades Marathon - a celebration of mankind’s spirit over adversity; camaraderie and heart. The everyday man and woman doing something out of the ordinary, something extraordinary!
This year, East Coast Radio and Old Mutual are celebrating the essence of The Comrades Marathon.
We’re telling the stories of two runners, novice Nontuthuko Mashimane, 33, and Antony Clapham, 38, who’s running his fourth race.
Nontuthuko, a nutrition consultant from Pietermaritzburg, is running the race to raise money for a charity.
Anthony, a décor consultant from in Durban North, is inspired by his family.
Watch their stories here, and follow their progress on race day with East Coast Radio and Old Mutual.
