Meet our Comrades runners

The Comrades Marathon - a celebration of mankind’s spirit over adversity; camaraderie and heart. The everyday man and woman doing something out of the ordinary, something extraordinary!

This year, East Coast Radio and Old Mutual are celebrating the essence of The Comrades Marathon.

We’re telling the stories of two runners, novice Nontuthuko Mashimane, 33, and Antony Clapham, 38, who’s running his fourth race. 

Nontuthuko, a nutrition consultant from Pietermaritzburg, is running the race to raise money for a charity.

Anthony, a décor consultant from in Durban North, is inspired by his family.
