Weird and wonderful wedding cakes
As I cast my mind back to 2008 my mind swirls with a very happy wedding day, complete with a red velvet king and queen’s throne, sparklers, beloved friends and sacred family.
Our wedding cake was made up of over 100 chocolate and vanilla cupcakes decorated with mismatched flowers and little bumble bees, our cutting cake was a larger version of the cupcake tied with ribbons and two hearts.
Looking at these pics of the latest ‘on trend’ wedding cakes, it seems anything goes.
Savoury is apparently a route people are taking into consideration; pork pie anyone?
