Driving home the other afternoon my daughter opened a packet of chips. The smell of the tomato spice filled the car and as tempting as it was to take help her finish the bag, I didn't.
Instead, when she offered them to me, I asked for one. Yes ONE!
I'd be cheating myself and throwing away all the hard work I have been putting in with the Flora Strong Heart Programme if I simply gave in to every craving.
Funny thing though is having that one chip I actually learnt something about myself. If I had felt like chips in the past I would have just gone out and bought a bag and eaten them all. That one chip was enough. I got the taste and had the crunch. Does the first chip taste different to the last chip in the bag? Of course not. They all taste the same. Having just one was enough.
Wow, either I've changed for the better or completely lost my mind. Either way, the healthy result will be a positive one.
