Adele made me abandon my car!
Updated | By Rory Petzer

The motorist said he had completely misinterpreted a message on the screen of his stereo system.
What his radio was actually telling him was that Adele's Set Fire to the Rain was currently playing.
The man said he saw the word 'fire' and thought it was a warning from his car's onboard computer that it was about to set itself alight.
The motorist told officers he thought the onboard computer was warning him the vehicle was close to bursting into flames.
Police officers in the UK say they have heard it all when it comes to excuses for stopping on the freeway.
One motorist stopped 'to pick flowers' while another 'wanted to take a photo of his grandchild because it was a lovely day.'
