A dog rescued at sea!
Updated | By Abi Ray

On Sunday morning, Skipper Quinton Shooter was coming into Durban harbour with his boat when he noticed something very out of the ordinary in front of him.
It turned out to be a dog paddling for his life! Nobody knew how he'd gotten there, nor how long he'd been there, and where he'd come from. All they knew was that this dog needed to be rescues, and quickly! He was apparently so tired that the lower half of his body had started to sink by the time they got to him. Thankfully they got him onto the boat just in time!
The people from rescue organisation Project Dog were contacted; they in turn contacted vet Dr Kerry Easson, who assessed him and gave him the a-okay!
He is now known as Sea Do and has a brand new family in Dr Easson herself, to love him and care for him!
It was such a pleasure talking to all involved this evening in Animal Antics.
Here is Sea Dog, with his rescuer Quintin and his new human mom, Dr Kerry Easson.
