9-year-old accidentally shoots gun instructor

A gun instructor in the US has been shot dead by his 9-year-old student. 

He was showing her how to use an automatic Uzi but the recoil was too much for the child as the gun went over her head  

What's worse is that her parents filmed the entire tragedy on their cellphones.

This is what the team had to say after hearing about the horrific incident 

Darren: You might remember that Piers Morgan lost his job at CNN and many believed it was because of his stance on guns and going head to head against the National Rifle Association (NRA) and gun toting middle America with their staunch defence of the Second Amendment which is the right to bear arms. Now, I’m not a big fan of Piers Morgan but in this respect I am completely and utterly in camp Morgan. I was just as shocked, outraged and irritated by the latest defence by the Second Amendment (the open carry campaign) where Americans can walk into fast food restaurants with assault rifles over their shoulders. 

The NRA’s loudest argument is that guns don’t kill people, people kill people. I’d love for you to sit with that 9-year-old girl and sit with her and tell her that she killed that instructor. 

Natarah: This is absolutely horrific. I couldn’t stomach the news. I really feel that there should’ve been more responsibility on the part of the instructor and parents. I read that the child weighed about 27kgs and the gun between 3 and 4kgs. That’s quite heavy for a 9-year-old! While children are allowed at gun ranges supervised, I think parents need to exercise better judgement when it comes to which weapon their children can and cannot use.

Gabriel: When I first read the story I was shocked. I can’t believe this has happened. What is a 9-year-old doing at a rifle range in the first place? Which parent would trust their child, who has had no gun experience, to hold a powerful weapon like that?
