Wallabies Cooper set for Sevens debut
Updated | By AFP
Wallabies flyhalf Quade Cooper is set to make his world sevens series debut after being named in Australia's 12-man squad for next week's Las Vegas tournament, the Australian Rugby Union said Friday.

The 58-cap, Toulon-based player gets his chance after he missed out on a spot at this month's Sydney Sevens despite making the long-haul trip from France.
"We're delighted to welcome Quade into the fold for Las Vegas," Australia coach Andy Friend said.
"Having had a few training sessions with the squad earlier this month and the sessions we'll have in the week leading up to the tournament in Las Vegas, we'll be in a much better position to utilise his skill-set."
The play-making Cooper, 27, has set his sights on the Rio Olympic Games in August after being released by his French club to play in the Sevens series.
