VIDEO: Unusual jet-ski fishing action
A jet-ski angler heads out deep and decides to fish bottom for species caught less often.
Most of the jet-ski anglers I know tend to trawl for the likes of king mackerel, dorado, tuna, marlin and sailfish.
Some of them do drop baits down during the geelbek salmon season and when in pursuit of daga salmon.
However, the angler in the footage below goes out about 50km in his pursuit of rare jet-ski fishing action.
The footage was shot off the coast of New Zealand.
We recently showed you footage of this same angler hooked into two big fish at the same time - he sure seems to know his stuff.
