VIDEO: Spider web fishing success
An angler demonstrates the art of catching fish with a spider web as bait.
The angler is after needlefish.
These fish have sharp teeth and are known to leave teeth behind when inflicting a bite on a careless angler.
Needlefish have caused at least two human fatalities - both died after being pierced by the spike.
The footage below shows an angler catching needlefish using an ancient technique.
Needlefish remind me very much of the garfish found in KZN waters.
