VIDEO: Lure fishing for tarpon

These fish are such amazing acrobats and can grow up to 140kg.

I have shared footage of them being caught on a variety of live baits and also on lures.

You may recall some of the awesome tarpon action on fly tackle that we have shown you here.

Tarpon are a very popular target species in Florida in the USA.

They are also found in Angola.

Today we go to Key West in Florida for more stunning tarpon fishing action.

I am hoping to shoot another fishing video of my own soon.

The plan is the pursue either dorado or yellowfin tuna here in KZN.

I know of a few dorado caught off Umhlanga recently and have been told of good tuna action off Shelly Beach.
