VIDEO: Feast of dorado fishing
A dorado won the inaugural East Coast Radio fishing challenge for the Drive team last month.
Alain Tardin landed the winning fish of around 6kg off the Natal Power Boats craft.
The Drive team consisted of Tardin, Andre Bloem, Diana Bloem and Dick Lange.
We caught the dorado close to the container ships anchored off Umhlanga.
We had earlier hooked and lost a much bigger dorado right next to a cargo ship.
The Breakfast Stack team drew a blank on a day that saw very few fish landed.
Dorado are also called both dolphin and mahi-mahi.
