The past weekend saw the abandonment of a Momentum One Day Cup fixture in Benoni.
The pitch at Willowmoore Park was deemed too dangerous to play on.
The decision was made with the Unlimited Titans on 45 for 3.
They were sent in to bat by the Chevrolet Knights.
The Knights were awarded the points.
I recall the same happening in a Test match in the West Indies several years ago.
England batted first and were not impressed with proceedings at Sabina Park.
They had to face Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh on a rather nasty strip.
