Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner were involved in a famous battle at Laguna Seca back in 2008.
Stoner, in fact, may even insist on labelling the MotoGP contest as infamous.
Rossi has won six MotoGP world titles, while Stoner secured two MotoGP championships.
Rossi, now 36, remains active and currently tops the 2015 MotoGP standings.
Rossi was second in the championship behind Marc Marquez last season.
Stoner retired from MotoGP in 2012.
