VIDEO: Bonnethead shark action
I recently had two nice fish stolen by sharks during Quattro King of the Sea on the KZN south coast.
I saw the one shark and it looked very much like a spinner shark.
It grabbed what I think was a yellowfin tuna I hooked at Protea Banks off Shelly Beach.
The other shark hit my hooked fish deeper down and I have no idea what species of shark it was.
I do know that it must have been pretty big as it gulped what felt like a really nice fish.
The shark was hooked and eventually bit or broke my line well above the leader.
Today we go to the USA for another fishing adventure enjoyed by celebrity angler and skipper Blair Wiggins.
He hooks a tripletail and then an unintended target.
