UKZN Impi fail in promotion bid

Impi were hammered 42-8 by University of Johannesburg in their promotion-relegation battle in Potchefstroom this afternoon.

There will be no promotion opportunity in 2015.

Meanwhile, Jonsson College Rovers will face Old Selbornians in their quarter-final at the Cell C Community Cup knockout tournament later this month.

Rovers qualified in style for the knockout tournament to be held at Outeniqua Park in George.

Rovers won all four their matches in securing top spot in Pool B.

The KZN club rugby champions ended second in the Cell C Community Cup last season.

Despatch beat them in the final.

Despatch, from the Eastern Cape, will tackle Roodepoort in their quarter-final match in George this month.
