Twitter reacts GGG vs Alvarez 118 scorecard
The Middleweight between Genady Golovkin against Canelo Alvarez ended in a draw in Las Vegas on Sunday morning - SA time.
After a closely fought bout in Las Vegas, one judge scored it 118-110 for Alvarez, another 115-113 for Golovkin and the third a 114-114 draw.
There were boos when the decision was announced and both boxers shook their heads.
One would think the reaction on twitter would be about the result but the fight was overshadowed by a controversial scorecard.
Judge Adelaide Byrd scored the fight 118-110 for Canelo Alvarez which was totally untrue and the world of twitter had its fair bit to say.
Renowned sports personality Stephen A Smith was DISGUSTED by the Byrd's scorecard.
