Sundowns are back in the CAF Champions League.
This after CAF chose to disqualify AS Vita for fielding an ineligible player in the competition.
Sundowns will meet Zamalek, Enyimba and ES Setif of Algeria in the group stage.
More local soccer news is that the NFD promotion-relegation play-offs will get underway tomorrow.
The opening fixture feature Mbombela United and Highlands Park.
Kickoff is at three o'clock.
It seems German international, Mario Gotze, will not be joining Liverpool this summer.
His dad says Gotze is planning to fight for a spot in the Bayern Munich first team.
Gotze, who has a year left on his contract, has not been a regular at Bayern of late.
This sparked talk of a move to Liverpool and yet it seems his dad is not expecting such a switch.
