Sri Lanka strike back in Galle

South Africa have ended day one of the first cricket Test against Sri Lanka on 268 for five.

The Proteas won the toss and chose to bat first in Galle.
The unbeaten batsmen are Quinton de Kock on 17 and Dale Steyn 0.
The men out are Dean Elgar for 103, Faf du Plessis 80, Alviro Petersen 34, AB de Villiers 21 and Hashim Amla 11.
Suranga Lakmal and Dilruwan Perera have taken two wickets each.
The Proteas looked very good at 195 for one, but Sri Lanka fought back well in the final session.
This is the first of two Tests.
