Small wants Ackerman for Boks job
Updated | By news24.com
Former Springbok wing James Small says Lions coach Johan Ackermann deserves to be considered for the Bok head coaching role.

The South African Rugby Union (SARU) is set for its next general council meeting on December 11 and it is at this meeting that the fate of under-fire Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer will be decided.
The latest mumblings are that Meyer could be offered a one-year contract extension, but the possibility of Meyer being axed also exists.
According to recent bookmakers' odds, former Sharks coach John Plumtree is the favourite to become the next Bok coach, with ex-All Blacks, Western Force and Lions coach John Mitchell the second favourite.
But Small, who played 47 Tests for the Springboks between 1992 and 1997, says Ackermann deserves to be considered favourite should Meyer’s contract not be renewed.
Small tweeted the following late on Wednesday night:
How Johan Ackerman's name is not on the top of the list for the #springbok job is beyond me!!
