SAFA seal Nike deal for Bafana

“It is an important step in the restructuring process underway at Safa," Jordaan said.
“It is fitting they have joined forces with us just at the time when things are about to change for the better and I want to assure Nike its faith in Safa will prove justified.”
The five-year deal, which commences on February 1, sees the US manufacturer replacing German company Puma, who ended its contract amid match-fixing allegations affecting games leading up to the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.
The American sportswear company would design gear for the men's and women's national football teams and provide equipment from grassroots level upwards, including match balls.
A limited-edition kit would also be provided for Bafana Bafana's international friendly against Brazil in Johannesburg on March 5.
The 2015-2016 kit will be unveiled in November 2014, with an assortment of supporter-wear being available from early January 2015.
