Rossouw growing in confidence
Updated | By Nondumiso Zakwe
Rossouw scored two centuries in the recent ODI series victory over West Indies. This after a slow start to his international career including a string of ducks.
Rossouw says his self-esteem has certainly been boosted.
''At the beginning it was a bit tough because I felt a little bit intimidated to play with guys that are legends of the game. Guys like Hashim Alma, AB De Villiers, Faf du Plesis and Dale Steyn. I mean you don't really feel part of it until you actually score runs. I feel a lot more settled now,'' Rossouw said.
Rossouw fancies his chances at the World Cup next month. He has toured Australia with South Africa A and has fond memories of that trip.
''I feel pretty confident with the SA A tour behind me. I scored a couple of runs there. Going to Australia where it is similar to South Africa. I feel quite confident going there representing my country,'' he added.
The Proteas will start their World Cup campaign against Zimbabwe on 15 February.
