Rossi claims Dutch MotoGP pole

It is his first pole of the current MotoGP season.

Teammate and closest title rival, Jorge Lorenzo, is eighth on the Assen grid.

Rossi leads Lorenzo by just a point at the top of the MotoGP championship standings.
