PHOTO: Mak mistaken for Beast
The latest incidents happened at the Volvo Golf Champions tournament at Durban Country Club over the past weekend.
The wife of golfer, Thomas Aiken, thought our Mak was the Beast and several other people stopped and shook his hand in the belief that they were speaking to the Springbok loosehead.
A photographer even wanted Mak to pose for a picture in his publication, thinking that he was about to snap a shot of a famous rugby star.
Mak does weigh in at 106 kilograms and is a former KZN Craven Week winger - so he certainly has rugby in common with the Beast.
