The Proteas will start day four of the second and final cricket Test against New Zealand on 105 for six in their second innings. This gives South Africa a lead of 372 runs in Centurion.

The Proteas have never lost a Test series to New Zealand and the highest successful final innings run chase in a Test in South Africa is 340.
However, Dale Steyn says the Proteas will spend more time batting today.
Steyn claimed three for 66 in the New Zealand first innings in Centurion.

England manager, Sam Allardyce, says retaining Wayne Rooney as England captain was an easy decision to make.
No one has scored more goals for England than Rooney and Allardyce says Rooney is respected by his peers and also enjoys the leadership role.
England have a World Cup qualifier in Slovakia this Sunday.
Allardyce says he will play Rooney in the same position as he has been used at Manchester United this season.
Manchester City goalkeeper, Joe Hart, has been given time off by England for a trip to Italy.
Hart is going there for a medical at Torino.
Hart looks set to join Torino on loan.
He is not wanted by City manager Pep Guardiola.

Kevin Anderson has won his first round match at the US Open.
The 23rd seed defeated Yoshihito Nishioka 6-3 7-5 6-4.
Anderson will face Vasek Pospisil in the US Open second round.
Also through to the second round in New York are Angelique Kerber, Rafael Nadal, Garbine Muguruza and Novak Djokovic.
Andy Murray and Serena Williams are both scheduled for first round action at the US Open today.

Murray will start his campaign against Lukas Rosol, while Williams has a date with Ekaterina Makarova.
