Thanda Royal Zulu are top of the National First Division standings. Amazulu are second and three points behind their KZN rivals. Thanda thumped Real Kings 5-1 at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex yesterday. Amazulu, meanwhile, were beaten 2-1 by FC Cape Town in KwaMashu.

Arsenal are third in the English Premier League.
This follows a 1-0 victory at Burnley yesterday.
Laurent Koscielny scored the Arsenal winner in the 93rd minute.
The Gunners trail leaders, Manchester City, by two points.
Arsenal are one point behind London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs beat Manchester City 2-0 at White Hart Lane yesterday.

Atletico Madrid are now setting the pace in La Liga.
Atletico lead Real Madrid on goal-difference at the summit.
Antoine Griezmann scored for Atletico in a 2-0 success at Valencia yesterday.
Gareth Bale netted for Real Madrid in their 1-1 draw with Eibar at the Bernabeu.
Barcelona lost 4-3 at Celta Vigo last night and are fourth in the standings.
Gerard Pique scored twice for the losing side.

Rudy Paige appears a major doubt for the Rugby Championship action in Durban this coming Saturday.
Springbok scrumhalf, Paige, suffered concussion in the victory over Australia at Loftus this past weekend.
The Boks will be up against New Zealand at Growthpoint Kings Park.

There is also one-day international cricket action scheduled for Durban this week.
The Proteas will meet Australia in the third ODI at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead on Wednesday.
South Africa are 2-0 up in the five-match series.
Faf du Plessis made 111 for the Proteas in their victory in the second ODI yesterday.

Pakistan now have a winning 2-0 lead in their three-match ODI series against West Indies.
This after beating West Indies by 59 runs in the second ODI in Sharjah.
Babar Azam cracked a second successive century for Pakistan.
He hit his 123 from 126 balls.

Sebastian Vettel will have to drop three places on the Japan Grand Prix grid at Suzuka this weekend.
Vettel is being punished for making contact with Nico Rosberg during the Malaysian Grand Prix yesterday.
Rosberg ended third in Malaysia and is now 23 points clear at the top of the Formula One championship standings.
Lewis Hamilton is second.

USA have regained the Ryder Cup.
They have beaten the Europeans by six points at Hazeltine.
