Miller given Cricket SA contract
Sunfoil Dolphins batsman, David Miller, has been rewarded with a national contract.
Quinton de Kock has also signed a deal with Cricket South Africa.
However, Cricket SA has opted to cut its list of contracted players from the usual 20 to 17.
This is due to an anticipated budget shortfall.
Thami Tsolekile, Dean Elgar, Colin Ingram, Marchant de Lange and Aaron Phangiso no longer have national contracts.
It is believed the shortened India tour of South Africa has hit Cricket SA hard in the pocket and is forcing them to cut costs.
