Jose Mourinho appears to be the top earning manager in the game.

France Football estimates that Messi earned around 65-million euros last year.

Cristiano Ronaldo significantly improved his earnings over the past 12 months and yet remains around 11-million euros behind Messi in second spot.

Neymar completes the top three in the income survey.

Robin van Persie is fifth on the list and Wayne Rooney seventh.

It is believed Mourinho bagged 18-million euros last year.

That is about two-and-half-million more than closest rival Carlo Ancelotti.

Pep Guardiola is third and Arsene Wenger fourth.
