Massive weekend approaching for Hollywoodbets Dolphins ladies

Excitingly for the Dolphins Ladies side, they will be playing a televised match on Sunday when they face the Badgers at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium in a double-header that will also feature the Hollywoodbets Dolphins men’s side in the afternoon.

As it stands the Dolphins lead the way in the One Day Cup with four impressive bonus point victories in the competition so far. They will be eager to improve their T20 standing, currently sitting in fifth on the table.

Coach Angelique Taai is looking forward to another exciting weekend of action against a strong Badgers outfit.

“Preparation of the team has gone according to plan,” Taai said. “We went back to the drawing board and identified the areas we need to improve on going into this weekend’s important fixtures versus the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers.

“We are always looking for continual improvement of the individuals and the team. We are delighted with the performances thus far with some individuals achieving their personal best bowling and batting performances.

“We always ask the players to take care of their own space, which will contribute to the success of the team at the end. After all, cricket is an individual sport played within a team environment.”

The visiting Badgers will also be as close to full strength as possible.

“The Garden Route Badgers will come full strength and will also look for a win after their defeat versus DP World Lions this past weekend. 

Saturday’s One Day Cup clash will take place at the Chatsworth Oval while the T20 Cup match on Sunday will begin at 09:30 at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium.
