Siren’s Call lines up in the prestigious Daily News 2000, featuring 14 Vodacom Durban July entries among its 18 carded contestants.

Regardless of her obvious class, it remains a bold move for the filly.

The Daily News 2000 will pit her against formidable male opposition in the likes of Ertijaal, French Navy and The Conglomerate.

These are all accomplished big-race winners.

Siren’s Call will be piloted in the Daily News 2000 this Saturday by current top stakes-earning jockey Piere Strydom.

Current SA national champion jockey, S'manga Khumalo, is also scheduled to ride at Greyville this weekend.

Khumalo is from KZN and a former winner of the Vodacom Durban July.
