Legislate at Greyville on Saturday
Updated | By Staff Writer

Offering R44 million in race stakes, the three-month festival is billed as the greatest gathering of horseracing talent on the African continent.
Champions Season spans the final three months of the annual racing calendar and is effectively horseracing’s national championships.
Heading the list of big-name stars this Saturday will be the reigning Vodacom Durban July champion Legislate.
The four-year-old colt lines up in the Grade 2 Independent on Saturday Drill Hall Stakes.
Legislate showed his ambitions last year with victory in the KRA Guineas at the opening meeting of Champions Season and followed that up by winning the Grade 1 Daily News 2000 a month later.
Legislate has already entered for this year’s Vodacom Durban July.
