Ironman Durban entries now OPEN

Entries are now open for the 2018 Standard Bank IRONMAN® 70.3® Durban triathlon.

The 2018 edition of the popular triathlon featuring a 1.9km swim, 90.1km bike and 21.1km run, is set to take place on Sunday 3 June 2018 at SUNCOAST, Durban.
2017 Saw a new swim venue at uShaka Beach and an exciting European style transition.
The rapid uptake of entries since the introduction of the Standard Bank IRONMAN 70.3 Durban triathlon in 2015, shows just how the sport has grown in South Africa along with the popularity of Durban as a host venue.
It has become a popular choice for athletes looking to participate in their first triathlon and attracts household names, among them athletes like John Smit, John Slade, Stefan Terblanche, Letshego Zulu and Butch James.
The 2017 event saw over 1000 first-time athletes taking on the challenge along with 30 teams made up of 2-or-3 athletes
