Garrick still biting in KZN
Updated | By Staff Writer

Toti has produced some reports of stumpies and big blacktail being caught. Winkel is still quiet, although there have been unconfirmed reports of a large sand shark being caught recently.
Anglers up the beach from the Umkomaas river mouth have been getting some nice grunter and the odd pompano as well.
The river mouth section seems to have a lot of small skates and the ledges on the far right have produced their fair share of brown skates.
Port Shepstone saw the odd garrick coming out and there have also been some good catches of bronze bream in this area.
Durbanites can expect a 30% chance of rain with a high of 24 degrees today.
The onshore winds are back with NEs expected to peak at 28 km/hr later. Right now thought the sea is calm with some fun surf on offer if you are keen to squeeze a quick wave in before work.
Saturday sees a SW buster come through sometime in the morning. Itwill peak at around 30 knots with a 60% chance of rain in the evening.
Sunday is going to be cool with a high of 20 degrees, Southerly winds blowing and a 60% chance of rain.
Surfers may be able to find some fun waves protected from the winds between the piers on Saturday with the north or south coast looking like a better option on Sunday.
Have a fantastic weekend.
