The Dolphins welcome the Titans to Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium on Wednesday looking to do the double over the men from Pretoria.

The first encounter saw the Dolphins win by 30 runs courtesy of the DLS Method, and another win over their rivals will be crucial for their play-off hopes.

There are four more matches for the Dolphins in the competition with two home games and two away matches left in order to move up the table.

"It is a massive game for us if you look at the context of the competition," Hollywoodbets Dolphins assistant coach Quinton Friend said. "We are third on the log and we want to try and climb up that log and see if we can get ourselves into a position where we can possibly host a semi-final.

"We've set ourselves certain goals we want to achieve in this competition and tomorrow is another opportunity to showcase our skills and give ourselves the best chance to get a win.

"I think we can say that we haven't played our best cricket in this competition, but we've still managed to find victories even though we haven't played as well as we would have liked.

"There are certain aspects of the game that we have put our focus on where we can be better and hopefully tomorrow against the Titans, we can put those changes into play and give us the best possible chance to get the win at home."

The Dolphins go into the clash with a strong group of players to choose from. Unfortunately, they will be without the services of Bryce Parsons who picked up an injury against the Lions recently.

Despite that loss, Friend is excited by the players they have at their disposal.

"We've got a close to full, fit squad to select from which is massive and it's really good to have these types of selection headaches.

"When you have everyone fit it's really hard to select your playing eleven, but it also leaves us in a very strong position to put out the best team possible," he added.

The match at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium on Wednesday night starts at 6pm.
