Cricketer dies while fielding
Indian cricketer, Ankit Keshri, has sustained a fatal injury while fielding in a club match in Kolkata.
The BBC reports that Keshri collided with a teammate as they both attempted to take the same catch.
Keshri previously captained the Bengal Under-19 state team and was 20 when he died yesterday.
Keshri reportedly regained consciousness after the fielding collision, but later suffered a cardiac arrest in hospital.
Hashim Amla, meanwhile, has signed a short-term contract with English county Derbyshire.
He will join Derbyshire next month and is available to play in five matches.
Amla last played county cricket in 2013.
